Many people imagine coaching as someone telling them what to do.
Good coaching is almost the opposite.
A coach doesn't provide answers or tell you which path to take. Instead, they partner with you to explore your situation, challenge your assumptions, and discover what feels right for you.
Most of us already know more than we think. The challenge is that fears, habits, expectations, and other people's opinions can make it difficult to hear our own voice.
Coaching creates the space to slow down, think clearly, and move forward.
What can coaching help with?
People come to coaching for many different reasons:
- Career changes
- Building confidence
- Relationships
- Life transitions
- Finding balance
- Making difficult decisions
- Turning ideas into action
Sometimes the challenge seems small. Sometimes it feels overwhelming. What matters is not the size of the challenge. What matters is whether it matters to you.
Coaching and therapy
Coaching is not therapy, although both can be incredibly valuable and can work beautifully together.
Therapy often helps people heal wounds from the past and better understand themselves.
Coaching focuses more on the present and the future, helping people turn reflection into action.
- Where are you now?
- Where do you want to go?
- What is getting in the way?
- What will you do next?
Why I coach
I've experienced how powerful it can be to have someone ask the right question at the right moment.
A question that creates clarity. Or reveals an option you hadn't considered. Or helps you trust yourself again.
That is why I coach.
Not because I have the answers. But because I believe people are often much closer to their own answers than they realize. Sometimes they simply need the space to find them.
Is coaching right for you?
You don't need to have everything figured out before starting. In fact, most people don't.
If you feel stuck, uncertain, or simply curious about what comes next, coaching may help you gain perspective and take meaningful action.
You only need one thing: a willingness to explore what is possible.
